ik dacht de koers zal wel een opdoffer krijgen maar nee, +15% in de plus. Begrijpen jullie het nog?

PyroGenesis had received strong investor demand under its financing, with over $10 million of orders under the financing, including the $2.5 million concurrent private placement of the CEO, and wishes to thank its investors for their support.

The order only applies to the financing, and does not affect the ability of the shareholders of PyroGenesis to trade in securities of PyroGenesis.

een opmerking/vraag op sh:

PYR issues financing, has investors lined up in no time to the tune of 10 Million waiting to invest including the CEO but the security commission looks into this and decides you guys have cash and lots of business in the pipeline so we are denying this application. The quesiton then becomes why did they ask for financing in the first place, possible answer so much growth coming they will need an infusion of cash to grow at an exponential rate. So rather than argue with the Security commision we will find any need cash elsewhere. Sound about right?

nu nog meer %. In de 1 minuut grafiek zie ik een order van 775k op 1,075. Maar die wordt gewoon geabsorbeerd.

Wie het weet mag het zeggen.

ik weet het niet maar wil toch reageren :)

uitgifte van nieuwe aandelen leidt normaal gesproken tot verwatering van de waarde van de bestaande aandelen. de laatste tijd is pyro al veel gedaald, wellicht te veel zodat er nu wordt gedacht het is een koopje.

ik volg ze al een paar jaar en in het algemeen is het toch meer een hobbyclub dan een professioneel geleid bedrijf. klinkt denigrerend, maar is zo niet bedoeld.

de manier waarop ze de aandeelhouders informeren is behoorlijk klungelig en haast alle boodschappen van ppp zijn weinig inhoudelijk en hij draait er veel om heen zonder concreet te zijn.

we moeten maar geduldig blijven zitten terwijl we geschoren worden.
en wie weet is over een paar jaar gebleken dat ik het mis heb. Maar dat vind ik dan niet erg!

Ik ben het hier niet helemaal mee eens. Pyro vergelijken met een hobbyclub vind ik het doen voorkomen alsof ze maar een beetje aankloten. dat is zeker niet het geval. de persberichten zijn ook vaak juiste wel informerend en soms tot in diep detail. Echter is het vaak de tijdlijn waar tactisch met bepaalde verwoording mee gespeeld wordt (aanname). dat moet stoppen. Er zullen ook zeker bepaalde vormen van geheimhouding voor de cliënt meespelen bijvoorbeeld vanuit een wereldspeler als Rio tinto. Dat maakt het moeilijk om een duidelijk compleet beeld te krijgen momenteel. High risk, potential high reward.
Ik geloof ook wel dat er concurrenten gebaat zijn het sentiment en de koers naar beneden te krijgen als de technologie inderdaad in de praktijk zo baanbrekend is als ze aangeven, wellicht zelfs klanten die een overnamekandidaat zien in Pyrogenesis zoals hier eerder al beschreven ofwel een graantje mee willen pikken van een koersstijging vanuit een dieptepunt naar het absolute hoogtepunt...

Enfin, er zijn meerdere scenario's mogelijk en het mag duidelijk zijn dat de druk toeneemt zowel op de wens naar duidelijkheid als druk op de koers. ik denk wel, dat als eenmaal een contract van aanzienlijke grootte land, dit aandeel kan exploderen. Een bewijs van de technologie en haalbaarheid van opschaling.

Ik vind het een heel knullige ontwikkeling.
Nu blijkt dat sinds 2019 Pyr onder verdenking is, nauw gevolgd wordt door het AMF.
AMF grijpt nu in omdat niet is aangetoond dat Pyr over voldoende middelen beschikt om zo nog 12 maanden de bedrijfsvoering aan te kunnen ( cashburn van 1 miljoen CAD per maand, over de laatste negen maanden).

Ik denk dus dat er binnen 14 dagen opheldering komt, of een versneld contract ( tegen speciale korting)

Regulatory Matters

The Company announces that on February 17, 2023, the Company received a motion from the Autorité des marchés financiers (the “AMF”), the securities regulatory authority in the Province of Québec, filed with the Superior Court of Québec (the “Court”) pursuant to which the AMF is asking the Court to determine whether certain documents previously requested by the AMF from the Company are subject to solicitor-client privilege.

The motion was filed by the AMF in connection with an investigation being conducted in the context of applicable securities laws. The Company understands the AMF is investigating certain actions taken by the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, Mr. P. Peter Pascali, in connection with a settlement agreement entered into on April 30, 2018 between the Company and Phoenix Haute Technology Inc. (“Phoenix”), a company controlled by the father of Mr. P. Peter Pascali, and ancillary transactions.

New Superalloy Could Cut Carbon Emissions from Power Plants

As the world looks for ways to cut greenhouse gas emissions, researchers from Sandia National Laboratories have shown that a new 3D-printed superalloy could help power plants generate more electricity while producing less carbon. Sandia scientists, collaborating with researchers at Ames National Laboratory, Iowa State University and Bruker Corp, used a 3D printer to create a high-performance metal alloy with an unusual composition that makes it stronger and lighter than state-of-the-art materials currently used in gas turbine machinery. The findings could have broad impacts across the energy sector as well as the aerospace and automotive industries, and hints at a new class of similar alloys waiting to be discovered. The team has published their findings in the journal Applied Materials.

Sandia scientist Dr Andrew Kustas said “We’re showing that this material can access previously unobtainable combinations of high strength, low weight and high-temperature resiliency. We think part of the reason we achieved this is because of the additive manufacturing approach.”

Sandia’s experiments showed that the new superalloy of 42% aluminum, 25% titanium, 13% niobium, 8% zirconium, 8% molybdenum and 4% tantalum was stronger at 800 degrees Celsius than many other high-performance alloys, including those currently used in turbine parts, and still stronger when it was brought back down to room temperature.

This new research demonstrates how the technology also can be repurposed as a fast, efficient way to craft new materials. Sandia team members used a 3D printer to quickly melt together powdered metals and then immediately prints a sample of it. Sandia’s creation also represents a fundamental shift in alloy development because no single metal makes up more than half the material.

Moving forward, the team is interested in exploring whether advanced computer modeling techniques could help researchers discover more members of what could be a new class of high-performance, additive manufacturing-forward superalloys.

Zou het kunnen dat PP de liquiditeitsproblemen zag aankomen en dat hij daarom zoveel aandelen heeft verkocht om daarna mee te doen aan die emissie?
Dat zou wel een logische en ook positieve beweegreden zijn. Door zelf mee te doen heeft hij wellicht andere investeerders erbij getrokken.

Ja, ik verwacht een aandelenemissie zoals aangekondigd 2 weken geleden.
Nog even het AMF onderzoek afwachten of daar rare zaken uitkomen ( bij verwachting van onvoldoende liquiditeiten om het jaar door te komen) en dan blijkt of de koers standvastig is of verder daalt.
