Notably, one of the leading exporters, Suez Steel, has recently obtained crucial rebar certifications for multiple countries, enabling the expansion of their sales territory and bolstering their position in the industry.
European steel distribution company JSC LITMET has successfully certified Suez Steel's straight and spooled reinforcing bars according to various international standards, including Polish, Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian, and Baltic standards. This achievement empowers Suez Steel to supply their high-quality reinforcing bars to the construction markets in Scandinavia, Poland, and the Baltic countries.
JSC LITMET, a prominent steel trading company operating warehouses in Finland, Norway, Lithuania, and Poland, has exclusively distributed Suez Steel's reinforcing bars in Scandinavia, the Baltic countries, and Poland since early 2023. The certification obtained by Suez Steel opens up new avenues of opportunity, granting them improved market access and enhancing customer confidence in their products. A representative from JSC LITMET expressed, "This certification is a significant success for both companies and showcases the result of our close collaboration."
Currently, Suez Steel operates a state-of-the-art facility with a 1.95 million metric ton DRI module and two melt shops boasting a joint capacity of 2.05 million metric tons. Their three longs rolling mills contribute to the production of a wide range of products, including reinforcing bars, rebar coils, and wire rods. The recent rebar certifications serve as a testament to Suez Steel's commitment to high-quality production and allow the company to significantly expand their sales markets.
