    Het is eerder hopen en blijven hopen.. Er is reeds kans genoeg geweest voor een overname, hun positie is momenteel zo zwak zodat bij een eventuele overname(in beste geval) de particuliere aandeelhouders in de kou gaan staan.

    Maar als.men ziet dat de grootste aandeelhouder erachter blijft staan kan ook positief zijn voor een eventuele samenwerking. Overname zou misschien beter zijn voor de particuliere aandeelhouders, maar dat zal echt aan het bedrag liggen wat het mag opleveren per aandeel. Paar euro zal de pijn verzachten ,maar denk voor de meeste particuliere is het niets vergelijken met de jaren.
    Maar joh we moet wachten en hopen.

    Waarom denkt iedereen aan een paar euro?
    Hun eigen aankoopprijs? Want dit is irrelevant.
    Met een bod van 1€ aan een koers van 40 cent zou je al heel tevreden moeten zijn.
    Of ze gaan binnenkort iets moeten publiceren van onderzoeksresultaten die beter zijn dan zeer goed.

    Kosten bij celyad zijn gereduceerd en dan met kleine investeringen kunnen ze jaren vooruit. Dan wachten ze wel op resultaten

    Voor veel minder dan 5 ton per maand kan je toch niet verwachten dat er wat substantiële resultaten worden geboekt.
    Ergo 6 mio op jaarbasis.
    Dus. Hoe lang ga je door met geld erin pompen? Om hun gemiddelde aankoopprijs te verlagen?
    Het is duidelijk dat zij wel weten hoe het nu precies gaat met de vorderingen….
    En nogmaals. Maar 1 mio euro.
    Schiet toch niet op.
    Maar goed. Het zal wel langer duren dan dat de particulier geduld op kan brengen.

    Ze hebben 20 jaar data verzameld, tja wat is het waard. Geen idee ook. Reken nergens meer op, mijn geld is weg.

    Mont-Saint-Guibert, Belgium, August 26, 2025, 08:30 am CET – regulated information / inside information – Celyad Oncology (Euronext: CYAD) (“Celyad” or the “Company”), today announced that it has decided to discontinue its research and development (R&D) activities and to implement a significant reduction in its R&D workforce due to limited cash resources.

    This decision follows a comprehensive review of the Company’s operations, limited resources and results, and strategic options. Celyad will continue to focus its efforts on the management and licensing of its intellectual property portfolio.

    Matt Kane, Chief Executive Officer of Celyad: “Celyad has long been at the forefront of innovation in CAR-T cell therapy. While this decision was not easy to make, we believe that focusing on our intellectual property portfolio is the most effective way to leverage our scientific achievements and proprietary technologies. We are committed to supporting our employees through this transition and to exploring possible collaborations with potential partners to unlock the potential of our IP assets.”

    Management currently anticipates that existing cash resources will fund operations into mid Q4 2025. Given this limited cash runway, the Company continues to assess strategic options but expects that additional financing or further cost cutting measures will likely be required to support continuing operations, and Management will maintain a disciplined focus on streamlining operations and cost-containment. The Company additionally intends to sell its remaining assets to allow it to fully focus on optimizing the potential of its IP portfolio.

    Maar joh, fortress stopt er effe een miljoen is, kosten worden verlaagd dus positief toch... aandeel wordt weer effe onderuit gezet. En dan einde jaar verkocht voor 5 euro per stuk;)

    Is gewoon nog eens bijkomend slecht nieuws. Kans dat het slecht afloopt wordt alleen maar groter.
    Persoonlijk wacht ik tot de koers zakt tussen de 15 en 20 cent voor terug in te kopen. Momenteel is het risico niet evenredig tegenover het potentieel.
