    Today is bittersweet. I am pleased to share what is likely the final publication from Celyad Oncology, published in Nature Leukemia.
    The manuscript reports a head-to-head analysis of two early-phase clinical trials in relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and high-risk myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) evaluating NKG2D-ligand–targeting CAR T cells. The first trial assessed our first-generation construct. The second evaluated a second-generation construct that incorporated a microRNA to silence MICA and MICB within the CAR T cells, with the goal of reducing fratricide.
    These studies laid the foundation for our third-generation product, which in preclinical models demonstrated at least a five-fold increase in anti-leukemic activity in vitro and in vivo.
    Hopefully, this publication helps advance the development of effective treatments for patients with AML and MDS, diseases with profound unmet medical need.

    Happy to share that we have, at last, published our clinical data comparing CYAD-01, our first generation NKG2DL CAR, to the second generation CYAD-02, which included a miRNA construct to downregulate NKG2D ligands MICA and B into the CAR T-cells.
    This led to a significant difference in cell persistence but also clinical activity with a clear improvement for CYAD-02.

    So sad that we cannot pursue this at Celyad Oncology but at least it provided insights for new generations of NKG2DL CAR, but also other cell therapies.

    Iets na 12 is de laat leeggekocht tot 0,32 op aandelen en er kwam geen hoger aantal bij van een resterend bod in de bied.
    Was dus een zeer bewuste aankoop en in mijn ogen een poging om de koers omhoog te doen schieten.
    Verwacht nog een sprong en terug naar beneden voor de 25ste wegens speculanten.
