At the same time as plans are being made for production in China, the notification-time for lay-off to employees of suppliers is getting closer. What remains are negotiations and lay-offs.

On monday it was made clear that the 20 first people who were notified about a lay-off at IAC in the city of Skara, now will have to leave their jobs. There are tough times ahead for many.

730 people in total have been notified that they might have to find new work. Normally this is done 6 months in advance. According to FKG about 730 people have been notified and most of them are directly linked to the crisis at Saab.

- The lay-off’s will most certainly be performed. The suppliers can not risk things now say Svenåke Berglie, CEO of FKG.
