ASMI haalt 422 miljoen op met verkoop belang
ALMERE (AFN) - ASMI heeft een bedrag van 422 miljoen euro opgehaald door middel van de verkoop van een belang van 12 procent in dochter ASM Pacific Technologies (ASM PT). Dat maakte de toeleverancier van de chipindustrie woensdag bekend.

In totaal werden ruim 47,4 miljoen aandelen ASM PT verkocht aan institutionele en professionele investeerders. De verkoopprijs bedroeg 90 Hongkong-dollar (8,95 euro) per aandeel. ASMI blijft de grootste aandeelhouder van ASM PT met een belang van 40 procent.

ASMI had de verkoop eerder op woensdag aangekondigd en beloofde 65 procent van de opbrengst aan zijn eigen aandeelhouders uit te keren. Door een deel van het belang in ASM PT te gelde te maken hoopt ASMI iets te doen aan wat het de ,,onderwaardering'' op de aandelenmarkt noemt.

Opbrengst is dus 422 miljoen euro. Dit wordt een extra dividend van ongeveer 4,5 euro! Alleen de waarde van ASMI PT tegen de huidige verkochte koers is al 30 euro. Ik laat mijn aandeeltjes nog maar even staan. :-)

De beleggers zijn tegenwordig erg zenuwachtig en reageren krampachtig op een bericht zonder echt goed na te denken. Na de debacles van Imtech, fugro, sbm en brunel is dit ook niet zo gek. Maar gezien de opbrengst van verkoop en een brekende dividend van 4,85 euro verwacht ik morgen een sterke herstel na overdreven reactie van vandaag.

Volgens mij zijn er iets meer uitstaande aandelen en ben uitgegaan van 61 miljoen stuks.

Die 56.757.000 is de stand eind 2012. Volgens de IEX site is het zelfs nog iets minder. Ik weet niet of en hoeveel er sinds eind 2012 bij gekomen zijn.

ALMERE, The Netherlands - March 13, 2013 - ASM International N.V. (NASDAQ: ASMI and NYSE Euronext Exchange in Amsterdam: ASM, hereafter also the "Company") is pleased to announce the pricing and the generated proceeds of its partial secondary placement of shares of ASM Pacific Technology Ltd. ("ASM PT") (the "Placement").

The Company placed a total of 47,424,500 ordinary shares of ASM PT at a price of HK$ 90.00 per share to institutional or other professional investors through a partial secondary share placement representing a 12% stake in ASM PT. The Placement generated cash proceeds for the Company of a total amount of HK$ 4,268,205,000 (approximately € 422 million). The Company has agreed to a 180 day lock-up period, subject to customary exceptions.

As of today the Company continues to be the largest shareholder of ASM PT.

Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc ("Morgan Stanley") and The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited ("HSBC") acted as joint bookrunners on the Placement (the "Joint Bookrunners").

The Company intends to distribute approximately 65 % of the cash proceeds from the Placement, equal to approximately € 4.25 per ordinary share, to its shareholders. A proposal thereto will be placed on the agenda of the forthcoming AGM.

Mooie berekening dikkie dik.
Tja, dat zie je nu niet terug in de koers. 3-4 euro dividend is gigantisch.
Het is jammer dat mijn turbo vanmiddag al vrijwel direct geklapt is (stoploss te strak gezet en dus niet uitgevoerd). Ik heb nu nog calls april, hopelijk stijgen die snel een paar euro er moet wat goed gemaakt worden. Ik moet echt met mijn fikken van die Turbos afblijven.

Welke Calls april heb je giefmoney ik zit er ook aan te denken om morgenvroeg wat Calls aan te schaffen.

Ongeloofijk maar waar: er wordt € 4,25 extra dividend plus € 0,50 dividend over boekjaar 2012 (is € 4,75) in mei a.s. uitgekeerd en de koers zakt meer dan 10%!
Het kan niet anders dat er morgen een flinke stijging gaat plaatsvinden.

Misschien een hele domme vraag van een beginnende belegger. Ik heb zitten googlen maar kan nergens de regels vinden van het dividend.
Oftewel, de "hebzuchtige" vraag wanneer je dit dividend krijgt. Ikzelf ben vandaag ingestapt in ASMI omdat ik het aandeel erg interessant vond na de koersdaling.

Daarom vraag ik me af of je de aandelen een X tijd in handen gehad moet hebben? Of krijgen "nieuwelingen" als ik ook dit dividend?

Het aandeel asmi gaat kort na de alg. Aandeelhoudersvergadering in mei ex dividend. Dit betekent dat
Iedereen die de aandelen in bezit heeft voor de dag van ex dividend in mei recht heeft op dividend. De precieze
Datum van ex dividend is volgens mij nog niet bekend.

Ff algemene vraag: waarom mogen dergelijke berichten niet in de USA verspreid worden? Is niet echtgerelateerd aan ASM, maar toch....
