Barkerville Pours First Gold Bar - Full Scale Gold Production Achieved
Vancouver, BC - Barkerville Gold Mines Ltd. ("BGM" or "the Company") announces that Kevin McMurren, QR Mine Manager has reported to the Board of Directors that the Company's first gold dore bar was poured last week on September 8th weighing 314.1 troy ounces (9.77 kg) and that continuous, full gold production has now been achieved at the QR Mine & Mill in central British Columbia.

The next gold dore bar, approximately 500 oz, is planned to be poured tomorrow, Thursday, September 16th, with the Company planning to pour gold dore every 5-6 days and on this basis is looking to produce 50,000 ounces of gold in its first year of production.

The QR Mill will be initially run at a 600-tonne per day rate, ramping up to capacity over the next several months. The QR Mill is currently being fed with ore from the newly developed "915" stope. Orica's i-Kon digital blasting system was used to ensure successful initial production blasts opening the stope, resulting in minimal dilution.

Pre-production mine development continues towards the west side of the West Zone. This ore is the down dip extension of the North Lobe Pit. It is expected that this development to be in North Lobe ore within the week. Surface definition drilling has recently been completed in this area. An underground diamond drill will be in later this week to complete the definition drilling of this ore zone to finalize planning of the North Lobe production stopes.

The surface diamond drill is continuing exploration in a separate area at QR, the North Zone, located approximately 265 to 300 metres below the QR Mill. The North Zone is drill indicated to be the largest mineralized zone at QR and is the next zone slated for development and mining.

Barkerville Makes New Gold Discovery And Drills 22.6m of 6.93 g/T
Gold at Bonanza Ledge
=======================================================================

Vancouver, BC - Barkerville Gold Mines Ltd. ("BGM" or "the Company")
announces that it has discovered a new gold mineralized zone on
Barkerville Mountain, outside of the known Bonanza Ledge gold deposit.
Additionally, the Company has drilled a further 22.6m of 6.93 g/t at
the Bonanza Ledge deposit.

New Zone
The new zone is located approximately 93 meters beyond the Bonanza
Ledge deposit and was discovered by recent trenching. Result highlights
include:

. Trench #1: 38 feet grading 16.8 g/T gold
- Including 30 feet @ 21.2 g/T gold

. Trench #2: 17 feet grading 24.2 g/T
- Including 12 feet @ 33.0 g/T gold

. Trench #3: 17 feet grading 2.92 g/T gold
- Including 9 feet @ 5.10 g/T gold

. Trench #4: 10 feet grading 3.09 g/T gold

The initial controlled length of the new discovery is about 140 feet
(42.7 meters), running east - west, with the total width yet to be
confirmed. A large fault zone consisting of a fault gouge with
fine-grained massive or semi-massive pyrite replacement and
quartz-pyrite veins mainly controls this zone.

A large-scale drill program will be conducted at the discovery area as
soon as drill permits are approved.

Ziet er niet slecht uit guys!

Barkerville Completes 22 Hole Drill Program to Expand Gold Resource at Bonanza Ledge-Additional Sample Assays Pending From New Discovery

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 29, 2010) - Barkerville Gold Mines Ltd. ("BGM" or "the Company") (TSX VENTURE:BGM)(FRANKFURT:IWUB) reports the results of the last infill hole, BC10-11, at the Bonanza Ledge deposit on Barkerville Mountain in central British Columbia. In total, 22 diamond drill holes completed since August of 2009 will now be added to the previous resource model (refer to September 10, 2009 news release).

BC10-11 intercepted 26.7 meters grading 2.58 g/T gold between 64.2m - 90.9m including:

* 18.4 meters between 64.2m - 82.6m of 3.66 g/T gold

The 22 drill holes yet to be added to the resource include BC10-11 and holes previously released on: September 17, 2009, October 5, 2009, October 7, 2009, October 26, 2009 and September 20, 2010.

BC10-11 was conducted mine grid southwest of the Bonanza Ledge Zone. Mintec, an independent consulting company of Tucson, AZ, USA, planned the 22 diamond drill infill holes at the current resource in order to complete an expanded resource calculation and pit design for the Bonanza Ledge proposed open pit deposit. The expanded resource calculation is in progress and will be reported when completed.

In addition, 160 channel samples in total from the new discovery reported in the news release dated on September 20, 2010, have been shipped to Eco Tech Lab in Kamloops, B.C. for rush assay. Pending results will be released as soon as the assay results are received.

Drill core processing included descriptive logging and sampling for geochemical analyses. The NQ-size drill core was cut in two halves using a stationary rock saw at the company's Lowhee Compound in Wells-Barkerville, central B.C. One-half of the core is put in a sample bag. After all the samples are placed in the rice bags at the mine site, they are transported by BGM's personnel to a shipping company in Quesnel for trans-shipment to Eco Tech Lab in Kamloops, B.C. Sample preparation and geochemical assaying is done at Eco Tech Lab, following their own internal standards for quality control and verification. The gold assaying method uses a standard fire assay with AA finish. ETL is certified under the Assayers Certification Program of B.C.

en nog een extra mill erbij. Hoppa!

www.barkervillegold.com/s/News_Releas...

momenteel hebben ze 900 t/d met de huidige QR mill.

"nieuwe" mill nog eens 1300 t/d erbij, en upgrade naar 2000 t/d.

Straks dus bijna 3000 t/d capaciteit.

Barkerville Gold Mines Ltd. (BGM:TSX.V). Barkerville is a $90M market-cap company with 117,000 hectares in the Cariboo Gold Belt in British Columbia that has produced 3.8 Moz of gold historically. It has seven past-producing mines; three gold deposits, including the QR Mine and a 900-ton-per-day (tpd) mill; and recently permitted the Bonanza Ledge Mine. I like this particular company because there's been a lot of gold produced in this area. It has really beefed up its advisory team and insiders own about 10%.

In 2012, Barkerville intends to process ore from Bonanza Ledge to produce about 20?30,000 ounces (20?30 Koz). At $800/oz cash cost and $1,700/oz gold, operating cash flow will be between $18M and $27M. There is potential to develop additional mineable reserves at the QR Mine to boost that production to 50 Koz in 2012. It's waiting for results on 33 more holes. One hole at Cow Mountain returned 52 meters of 14.2 grams/ton (g/t) gold. Within 24 months we would expect over 100 Koz of annual production. At a conservative $3,000/oz, we've got a $300M value to the company, which triples its $90M market cap

Barkerville Gold Mines: News Release
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - March 16, 2012) - Barkerville Gold Mines Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:BGM)(FRANKFURT:IWUB) (the "Company") announces that it has been advised that Farshad Shirvani, a director of the Company, was issued a Notice of Hearing from the British Columbia Securities Commission (the "BCSC") dated March 13, 2012 alleging that he failed to disclose in certain regulatory filings the fact that the BCSC issued three cease trade orders against International Ranger Corp. ("Ranger") while he was a director of Ranger. These allegations have not been proven.

Management has been advised the Mr. Shirvani will be disputing the allegations and is confident that once all the facts have been presented to the BCSC that Mr. Shirvani will be found to not have deliberately violated the Securities Act.

However, Management is taking these allegations seriously and is continuing to seek additional directors and advisors with the necessary experience to compliment its management team and bring additional managerial, technical and operational experience to develop its properties, as it prepares for the transition from a junior mineral exploration company to an established gold producer in BC.

The Notice of Hearing can be viewed at: BCSC: 2012/16 BCSC Executive Director's Bulletin
