Hi,

When will the September changes made to FTSE100 take place? In particular Sports Direct was added 23rd September and I wanted to buy in immeditely but currently it isn't listed. It's up 1.3% so far today and I'm missing out!

Thank you

I really would not worry as when it dose the person who has lost most on the change will ask for the money back get it booked as a large percentage rise and win on the month.

Dear participants,

The composition of the FTSE100 has indeed changed on 23rd September. The stocks that have been added are Coca-Cola HBC AG, Sports Direct International and Mondi. The stocks that have been removed are Wood Group (John), Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation and Serco Group.

The new stocks are added yesterday and it is possible to trade in these stocks now. We will remove the stocks out of the FTSE100 after the trading day of Monday the 30th of September. This means that after Monday you can no longer trade in the stocks that are removed. We can then only remove your position, which means that you will receive back the money you invested in it.

Kind regards,

Ahhh... been trying to get out of ENRC for ages... this is why. Is it possible to remove my position?

Scratch that. Why is the price no longer tracked? ENRC has crashed since they dropped out of the FTSE 100. So fair enough that we can't trade on these instruments any longer, but my short position on the ENRC price is not accurately reflected. Surely the system should resolve any positions in instruments at the moment they are removed or the current price should continue to be reflected in portfolios. Essentially having a position in an instrument which is no longer in play breaks the game in important ways. Maybe if ex FTSE 100 shares should continue to be tracked while allowing players to remove their position at any time while preventing players from setting up new positions would be the fairest rule?
