Alcatel-Lucent, YooMee Africa in broadband pact

Alcatel-Lucent and YooMee Africa join forces to build ultra-broadband wireless internet access based on TDD LTE to West and Central Africa.

YooMee Africa, a wireless broadband operator in Cameroon, owning licenses in several countries on the African continent will use Alcatel-Lucent equipment when expanding as its main partner.

Alcatel-Lucent will enable YooMee Africa, the leading high-speed Internet service provider in Cameroon, to expand into new African market by offering TDD LTE ultra-broadband wireless access.

YooMee – previously known as 4G Africa – provides high-speed reliable Internet access and value added services to residences and businesses customers throughout sub-Saharan Africa.

LTE is the best choice for YooMee to build wireless broadband networks as it is the latest worldwide standard to offer mobile internet services replacing technologies like WiMAX.

YooMee has targeted deploying TDD LTE in its new markets within the next 6 months. The operator expects to build out in average 35 to 50 sites per capital city before deploying in remaining cities of the countries it operates in.

Alcatel-Lucent will deploy a complete end-to-end TDD LTE solution consisting of eNBs, Wireless Backhaul and the Evolved Packet Core (EPC). The Company will also provide professional services such as network planning, pre-launch optimisation, network integration, and start-up assistance services to accompany YooMee with its commercial rollout.

The Alcatel-Lucent Evolved Packet Core (EPC) is a high-capacity IP solution that sits at the heart of a mobile network. China Mobile has awarded Alcatel-Lucent 24 percent of its overall EPC network, making Alcatel-Lucent the primary EPC supplier for the entire 4G LTE network. Je hebt gewoon het effect van mensen die niet willen deelnemen aan de kapitaalsverhoging. Ze verkopen vandaag en morgen kopen ze dan terug goedkoper in (dan zijn de rechten afgesplitst).

ik moet nog zien of die uberhaupt daalt hierop,er zou ook het opposite kunnen gebeuren,na al de goede deals van Alu de laatste dgn/wkn

Vaag. Koers gaat -3% omlaag, maar mijn sprinters gaan 2,5% omhoog. hoe kan dit? Is er door de plaatsing van de aandelen een herberekening gemaakt? Of fout in mijn voordeel en moet ik snel verkopen. haha

Paris, November 15, 2013 – Alcatel Lucent (the “Company”) announces that the capital increase in cash with preferential subscription rights (the “Capital Increase”) will amount to €956,693,824.80 (increased from €954,917,275.20). The subscription ratio and the timetable of the Capital Increase announced on November 4, 2013 will not be modified, as the 4,335,639 new shares issued since November 3 fall below the number calling for an adjustment.

The Company also confirms that the subscription period will start on November 19, 2013 and will end on November 29, 2013, inclusive.

The Capital Increase will be open to the public in France only.

Ik zie dit nergens terug. Dit hele gebeuren is een beetje abacadabra voor mij. Het is allemaal wel prima. Dit is gelukkig geen dagelijks terugkerend fenomeen voor mij.

Alcatel-Lucent has signed a contract with the Japanese cable operator Tonami Communications Satellite Television.

The solutions of the group were selected to improve the current network will become a 100% fiber infrastructure.

Tonami use GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) technology to increase the connection speed to its triple-play offer (TV, data, voice).

ONN,kan jij straks Dr.O.L. een lift hier naar toe geven? Hij wil dringend overleg met mij voeren. Hij wordt geconfronteerd met een ernstige casus. Het betreft iemand die het ene moment denkt dat hij/zij/het een hij is en het andere moment een zij. Ook komt het voor dat hij/zij/het denkt xxx te zijn en dan weer yyy. En soms alles tegelijk. Het gaat om een oudere vrouw die echter nu ook steeds grover in de bek wordt en denkt het hele internet te kunnen reguleren. De driftaanvallen nemen ook in frequentie toe. De diagnose is nog niet geheel duidelijk, maar ik denk dat het woord "multiple" er wel in voorkomt.
