Rockland (RL-TSXV) is a mineral exploration company based in Vancouver, Canada. The Company is focused on developing its Schefferville Gold property and Retty Lake copper-nickel, platinum group elements (PGE) property, both located in the mining friendly province of Québec, Canada. Schefferville Gold property, Québec

Retty Lake Cu-Ni-PGE property, Québec
The Retty Lake Property is on trend with 4 known adjacent Copper-Nickel-Platinum Group Element lenses and the goal of Rockland is to discover additional mineralized lenses and develop the Labrador Trough as the next major mining camp in the Province. The Retty Lake Copper-Nickel-Platinum Group Element mineralization is analogous to that of the Raglan/Ungava district of Northern Québec where Xstrata and others have world class mines.

For Immediate Release. Vancouver, British Columbia, July 19, 2011: Rockland Minerals Corp. (TSX Venture: RL) (the “Company”) is pleased to provide an update with regard to its exploration activities in Labrador Trough area of NE Quebec. So far during the current field season Rockland has drilled the Retty Lake Cu-Ni-PGE property, and has flown a detailed heli-mag survey over the most promising portion of the Schefferville Gold property to guide follow-up field mapping and sampling.

A total of 1,500 meters was drilled in the NW Retty Lake area with 10 holes that targeted known copper-nickel-platinum-palladium mineralization along a significant trend that is largely covered by Rockland claims. The target middle sill peridotite unit was intersected in all the holes, and significant disseminated chalcopyrite (copper mineral) was observed in broad zones of the host rock peridotite with highly favourable "net texture" of disseminated sulfides. The drill core was shipped via rail from Schefferville, QC and has arrived at the core processing facility in Chicoutimi, QC. It is now being logged, saw cut and sampled, and assay results will be released as soon as possible after each batch of samples passes strict quality assurance/quality control protocols.

Follow-up fieldwork is now well under way on the northern block of Rockland Minerals Corp.'s Schefferville gold property, using recently flown data from a low-altitude draped heli-borne magnetometer survey on a 50 m spaced grid. The focus of Rockland's 2011 geological fieldwork is on the Rusty Acres area, which has never been drilled. Here, several clusters of plus-one g/t Au historic surface samples in outcropping rusty, iron-formations are seen on the compilation map. A total of 367 surface samples have been taken so far, and have been shipped for assay.

The Retty Lake project lies roughly 60 kilometers northeast of the town of Schefferville.

The Retty Lake area of the southern Labrador Trough holds potential for the discovery of economically important massive and disseminated Cu-Ni-PGE bearing sulphide deposits. This conclusion is supported by company, government and university geologists active in the area almost continuously since the 1940's. Recent work by Québec government geologists has discovered key similarities between the Cu-Ni-PGE occurrences at Retty Lake, and the Cu-Ni-PGE deposits in the southern Raglan District in the Ungava region. Rockland Minerals' claims cover key stratigraphic horizons that are on-trend with known Cu-Ni-PGE mineralization at the Blue Lake, Centre and Pogo deposits at Retty Lake. Rockland’s goal is to discover additional mineralized lenses (on trend) and develop the Labrador Trough as the next major mining camp in the Province. Rockland has an option to earn a 100% interest in 210 mineral claims that make up the Retty Lake property.

These "Blue Lake" deposits at Retty Lake are massive sulfide lenses at the base of a folded peridotote unit, and consist mainly of pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite, pentlandite and magnetite. Platinum group elements are closely associated with Cu-rich sheared margins of massive sulphide lenses and in their adjacent chloritized host rocks. The Blue Lake sulfides were discovered in the late 1940's, explored by drilling in the 50's and 60's, and a bulk sampling adit was driven in the 1980's. Historical estimates of grades and tonnages for these Blue Lake massive sulphide lenses have been frequently cited in the geologic literature by Québec government geologists and by academic researchers. Under the old system of Mining Permits, the Québec government did not require full disclosure of exploration data, and no formal disclosure meeting National Instrument 43-101 standards has been made, by either the previous owner or the present owner.

The government and academic publications state specific grades and tonnages for 4 main massive sulfide lenses at Blue Lake. In general, each of the 4 massive sulfide lens is reported to contain about 1 Mt of mineralized material averaging approximately 0.5% Ni and slightly less than 1% Cu. In addition, the cited Québec government literature sources state that the mineralized material in these massive sulfide lenses contains just under 1 g/t combined Pt+Pd, which was the focus of the exploration effort in the late 1980's by Group Platine de la Fosse.

Haas,
laten we er een 'business' van maken om 'low life juniors' te ontdekken!

Er valt natuurlijk veel geld te verdienen met niet-ontdekte juniors met een market cap van minder dan 5 of 10 miljoen die op het punt staan om booruitslagen bekend te maken.

de discovery van veelbelovende junioren is ,imo, 'n combi van:
-veel lezen ?
-kennis vergaren ?
-ervaring ?
-doelgericht werken ?
-fingerspitzgefühl opbouwen ?
-er in geloven ?
-doorzettingsvermogen ?
-discipline ?
-oefenen ?
-momentums ?
-toeval(treffers)?
-veel tijd instoppen ?

Bovenstaande combineren met hard werken. En als je dan op die weg naar succes ook nog geluk tegenkomt kun je dat goed gebruiken........

Veel geld verdienen ? in ieder geval hoge tot zeer hoge rendementen over de inzet bij de juiste keuzes.........Money Manegementtechnieken toepassen.En eindeloos veel geduld om dat ene fonds op je weg te vinden.?
