Martin ik heb je hoog zitten omdat je je conclusies onderbouwd.
Dat kan ik niet zeggen van meneer Inspirator. Die papagaait maar wat.
Hij heeft hier dit jaar sporadisch gepost en dat was maar goed ook.
De afgelopen maanden heeft hij bij MDX de grootst mogelijk onzin gepost.
Toen de koers daalde en daalde is hij daar mee opgehouden.

Het is nu een kat en muis spel.
Geloof je in een doorbraak van Tom2 in Automotive dan is het huidige koersnivo een absoluut lachertje.
Daartegenover staat dat het huidige koersnivo op basis van de te verwachten wpa over 2015 wel heel ver vooruit loopt op de muziek.

Dat laatste zou een goede (bijkomende) verklaring zijn voor de correctie en het instappen van de shorters.

denk t ook, Apple krijgt voor het eerst wat kritiek, niet over hun cijfers, maar over hun view voor groei voor de komende jaren, ze gaan de TV voor zendingen al herzien en nu eerder samenwerken dan zelf het te doen, dat kan leiden tot uiteindelijk een overname of belang.

ik denk dat ze de kaarten van TT ook niet gaan laten lopen, ze gaan deze enorme groei sector niet missen, ze gaan "IN the Car" , ben niet zeker dat ze zelf een auto gaan maken, TT's kaarten is cruciaal en het is NU nog 'goedkoop' maar 4/4,5 miljard zullen ze er voor moeten neertellen, ik geloof niet zo dat ze interesse hebben voor heel TT

dus met optellen en aftrekken en wat erover blijft is die 30 van jou in beeld voor ons aandeelhouders
gewoon blijven zitten en al dit geruis aan je voorbij laten gaan.

er zijn wel andere aandelen die nu onze aandacht nodig hebben , TT zorgt wel voor zichzelf zoals ze de laatste 12 maand ook hebben bewezen

vanavond eerst maar eens zien of er nog meer Engelse ploegen uit de Champions league vallen, daar is t serieus crisis, die Van Gaal zeg 250 mio uitgeven en niemand weet waar hij moet staan of wat hij moet doen, die Truus met zo'n chagrijn in huis, ook leuk zo voor de feestdagen.

lees trouwens dat de analisten in Amerika steeds ongeduldiger worden met wat Apple nu voor groei moet gaan doen, ze hebben een wenslijst opgemaakt waar Apple in zou moeten investeren, want die surplus cash van 200 miljard is een doorn in het oog voor de analisten, daar moet Apple wat mee gaan doen, behalve eigen aandelen inkopen, vooral omdat er elk kwartaal nog eens 10 miljard bijkomt.

GoPro, Tesla , BBRY zelfs ... alles behalve TT , nou dan zal die het wel gaan worden, zo gaat t meestal, iedereen doet aan voor inkoop op X en dan is het uiteindelijk Y die overgenomen gaat worden.

het ziet er trouwens naar uit dat de tijd van overnames en fusies weer in gang gezet is, dat is ook zo'n cyclus die steeds terug komt , dan komen er mega overnames om 5 jaar later tot de conclusie te komen dat het niet werkt en dan gaat men weer afstoten en ondertussen de aandeelhouder maar bijlappen om de overnames mogelijk te maken en dan weer afschrijven omdat het niet werkte

gestoorde business, maar we willen t allemaal niet missen.

fijne dag vandaag , consolidatie voor 'momentum' bij te tanken om daarna de weg naar boven te continueren.

Once a Dream
Automated driving is coming soon, and whatever form it ultimately takes, supply chains will be deeply affected. Old businesses will fall by the wayside and new ones will flourish.

TomTom is already very active in helping the automotive industry to move toward automated driving, de Vries said. “Our mission is to provide content, software and service components that enable the automated vehicle to see beyond its physical sensors.”

In September TomTom announced it had completed a high definition (HD) map of the entire German highway system. “The HD Map is much more accurate, detailed and feature-rich than the current navigation ‘standard definition’ maps,” de Vries said, “providing an additional reference point to what the car sensors see, and it also provides a longer range.”

TomTom’s Road DNA service also provides enriched content, entailing what de Vries describes as “a continuous ‘pattern’ of the side of the road that can be embedded in the car memory and compared to what its sensors actually see, so the vehicle position can be determined accurately.”

And TomTom is developing Cloud-based services such as ‘Traffic’ and a future-proof mapping platform that can process car sensor data and keep content in the car up to date in real-time.

Similar technologies, services and applications currently being created by other groups are also feeding into and hastening the development of autonomous road transport systems.

The driverless car is no longer science fiction, de Vries said. “I believe the general public is getting more and more aware of this emerging reality. This new era has already started and is for sure more than a dream.” But, he said, the step-by-step approach also means it will take a long time before the whole car park is full of self-driving vehicles.

“In the coming years, between 2016/17 and 2025, the automotive industry will move gradually from current Level 2/3 to Level 4—what we call HAD or Highly Automated Driving—by introducing more and more active-safety/ADAS/Automated Driving features to their new cars.” de Vries said. “It will start with commercial pilot projects, for example 100 Volvo cars on the Gothenberg ring road in 2017, and then introducing more and more cars to the market.

Wies, blij te lezen dat je het koersdoel van 12,50 ook al voorbij bent. Heb een maand niet zo op Tom2 gelet en prompt steeg de koers als een gek. Zit nu alleen nog in groeifondsen (incl Tom2 voor 60%) en een beetje olie (voor het dividend), een lagere belastingaanslag (op basis van forfaitair rendement) is ook zo gek nog niet.

Apple Maps was an inferior service when it appeared three years ago, but today Apple has caught up to Google Maps.

Because Apple’s Maps product was slow and featured horrible directions, Google Maps downloads continued to dominate on the iPhone, until the last year. But by making several acquisition to pick up mapping talent and forcing Apple mobile and desktop users to default to Apple Maps, the Silicon Valley giant is pushing Google Maps off of the iPhone.

Map location is key to helping smartphone users get around town, go shopping or visit restaurants and events. But location tracking is also the key to Internet retailers taking market share from traditional brick and mortar retailers.

Apple and Google both sell the tracking data to marketing companies that build business intelligence profiles on individuals based on where they go and what they do. It is not unusual for a shopper to get a targeted promotional ad when they are in a mall. Based on the shopper’s store visits that day, an Internet retailer can offer a targeted promotional ad featuring the type of products or services at a cheaper price.

Both Apple Maps and Google Maps have slick and intuitive user interfaces. The important competitive issues between the world’s two largest mapping services are the four user experience measures: 1) directions; 2) traffic data; 3) business look-up; and 4) GPS accuracy.

When it comes to directions, both apps offer 3D maps, traffic data, business guides, and location based searching. Google Maps’ in-client voice search and Street View functions are great. Google Maps on the iPhone will send you notifications about when a turn is coming up, but you can’t actually see the map or the next step in the directions unless you unlock your phone and boot up the Google Map app. With Apple Maps, you can view your route and your position live from your lock screen.

When you want to move from point A to point B, both map applications perform equally. But Google takes data directly from its own satellite images for Street Maps for archiving cities, businesses, houses, and street names. Apple Maps receives its GPS data from an aging partnership with TomTom.

Apple has made competitive progress and cured most of the issues that made Apple Maps a laughingstock. Today, the user experience in finding a location, adding it to your stored locations, and starting navigation is seamless and easy.

But if you are a big-city kid that relies on public transit directions for your commute, Google is still far superior in knowing to the minute when the next bus or train will pull up or if there will be a delay at your location. With more coverage than Apple Maps in metropolitan locations, Google still wins the direction category.

For traffic data and navigation, both Google Maps and Apple Maps seem to perform similarly. But Google’s collects satellite traffic information in a manner that has a measurement error of only about 18 inches. Apple Maps supplements its use of TomTom in the US and EU with phone data harvested across China and Southeast Asia. For traffic data and navigation, I call it a draw for traffic and navigation.

For Business look-ups, Apple Maps works with Yelp to produce a drop down list of suggestions rated according to other Yelp users when you tap broad categories on the search bar, such as “Fun”, “Food”, or “Drinks.” The simplicity of the feature is outstanding. If you are a Google Map user, you will have to go through several more steps to navigate into the Yelp app.

Once a business is selected, the Apple Maps displays bright and colorful buttons populate on the screen to help direct you to the intended location. Google accepts its competitive disadvantage and recently purchased of the food-rating service Zagat. But Google Maps is in catch-up phase. Compared to Google’s business directory and toggling back and forth to Yelp, Apple Maps Business Look-up is far superior.

For GPS Accuracy, there are really complicated technological differences that speak to the protocol for Apple Maps and Google Maps. But there is no reason for the user to care, since they both work equally well. The important issue for both services is that a more powerful devise will get quicker and more accurate results, but overall it is a draw.

Before reviewing this material on the Apple Map improvements, I assumed that Google Maps would still have a significant lead. But both services are now equally competitive. If you have been a long-time user of Google Maps and your account has all your contacts saved, you are much better off staying with your current service. But if that is not you, there is little reason to download Google Maps on an iPhone.
