TORONTO (SHfn) – Speculators continued to put money into almost anything lithium Friday, while traces of gold seemed to be enough for some buyers.

Red Hill Energy (TSX: V.RH, Stock Forum) shares surged as much as 27% to 49 cents on Friday after the micro cap explorer said it has agreed to acquire the Red Lithium Property in western Nevada. In consideration for a 100% interest in the property, the company has agreed to pay $150,000 and 350,000 common shares of Red Hill Energy.

Ben er ook nog niet uit. Ik wil minstens 1 Li aandeel in mijn porto, vooral om KT mee te traden wegens het hypegehalte momenteel.

(TSX VENTURE:SD)(FRANKFURT:SY7)(OTCBB:SIDNF) Sidon International Resources Corp. wishes to announce that it has entered into an option agreement with an arms length vendor to acquire 6 contiguous claim blocks consisting of 2668 hectares (approximately 6,591acres). These claims are in the vicinity of the recent discovery made by Decade Resources Ltd. and Mountain Boy Minerals on its Red Cliff property. (OTC.BB:AMLM - News) www.americanlithium.com (the "Company") announced today that it has signed a letter of intent to acquire the Green Energy lithium project in Utah. The project consists of mining claims covering an area of approximately 10 square miles (6,000 acres) and is 100% wholly-owned. High demand and low supply has pushed lithium carbonate (Li2CO3) prices to US$6,600.00 per ton, lithium-ion battery demand for hybrid-electric and electric cars is expected to increase four-fold by 2017.
Lithium occurs at the project over an extensive area with values as high as 1,700 ppm lithium (0.9% Li2CO3) in saturated brine. The brine was discovered in the 1960s when oil exploration wells encountered blow-outs drilling into Bed #31 of the Paradox Formation.
