Proton Power Systems installing new fuel cell manufacturing unit

StockMarketWire.com - Proton Power Systems said it was installing a stack manufacturing robot that would allow it to increase production capacity to 5,000 fuel cell units per annum.

The robot, relating to the project Fit-4-AMandA, meaning fit for automatic manufacturing and assembly, was financed by the European Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking agency.

Proton was one of five professional bodies that took part in the development and testing programme in order to perfect performance and manufacturing capacity of the robot, the company said.

In order to meet future increasing demand, plans were already in place to modify the machine layout to be able to produce up to 30,000 stack units per year.

'We are delighted with this important development in the company´s progress as it contributes greatly to manufacturing ability and puts Proton in a commanding position to receive larger quantity orders before the end of 2020,' chairman Helmut Gierse said.

Cell Impact AB ser. B -> Zag ik voorbij komen. Nog niet in verdiept. Maar lijkt een interessante speler. Uiteraard ook vanuit het vooruitstrevende Sweden.

Geen idee. Ik houd nu wat ik heb. Het is duidelijk dat ze in de lift zitten ondanks de rode beurs. Altijd risico's aangebonden. Voor de echte dips moet je lang wachten denk ik.

Het is allemaal redelijk vers, maar de waterstof branche vergelijk ik met de Cannabis markt, al is waterstof natuurlijk al en flinke poos langer in beeld. Er zijn enkele spelers nu fundamenten aan het leggen voor de toekomst. Met 2 jaar zit zal blijken welke overeind blijven. Powercell is een van de duurste op dit moment en staat op 8 € voldoende rek in, de komende 2/3 jaar, lijkt me zo. Vooral als je kijkt naar de moeilijkheden die optreden bij de productie van elektrische auto's, er is behoefte aan een alternatief.

Alles wat nieuw is boezemt angst in. Kijk naar Bitcoin (toch weer beweging in). Ik beleg in vooral niche markten (dus hoog risico/veel geduld). Vorig jaar lastig gehad met de Cannabis swings, maar dit jaar vrij positief met 3D, Cannabis en Waterstof. Bij een mooie winst altijd verkopen. Komen wel weer mooie nieuwe aandelen/kansen voorbij.

Osho, Ik geef je hier volledig gelijk.

Ik wacht nu ook nog wat af en dan haal ik zowel bij Nel Asa als ITM Power mijn startkapitaal eruit en kijk daarmee voor nieuwe opportuniteiten. De winst laat ik dan nog wel wat langer staan en hoop dat deze 2 aandelen nog verder groeien.

ENGIE Cofely Signs Deal With Pragma Industries For Hydrogen Bikes

ENGIE Cofely signed a commercial partnership agreement at the VivaTech show with the Biarritz based start-up Pragma Industries, acquiring 200 hydrogen bikes. This is the first deal to launch the hydrogen cycling industry in France. As the first company to equip its employees with a fleet of hydrogen vehicles as of 2017, ENGIE Cofely is confirming its commitment to green hydrogen mobility through this new purchase.

Green mobility was in the spotlight at the fourth edition of the Viva Technology show, which has become one of the essential meeting-places for innovation. With electric scooters, Segways, hydrogen cars and bikes and even flying taxis, there’s no denying that businesses and local authorities are endeavoring to reinvent the mobility of tomorrow to create a more sustainable environment.

For ENGIE, mobility is a vital factor in the zero carbon transition. To contribute to the harmonious progress of the regions and support them in their energy transitions, the Group is a firm believer in green hydrogen. ENGIE is already a partner of four initiatives selected in the context of “Hydrogen Mobility Ecosystems”, a call for projects launched by ADEME.

The hydrogen bikes constructed by the start-up Pragma Industries were in the spotlight in the Mobility Park, the ENGIE Group’s stand at VivaTech. These are the first electric bikes to be equipped with a fuel cell, which is built into the front frame of the bike and is fueled with green hydrogen.

The bikes have a range of more than 100 kilometers and can be recharged in less than 3 minutes, against 240 minutes for a traditional battery! The innovation is novel, but it is already operational, with around one hundred hydrogen bikes already in use in France. They can have a number of functions eco tourism, company fleets or urban self-service systems.

Mr Alain Colle commercial director of ENGIE Cofely at the signing ceremony said that “ENGIE Cofely wants to play an active part in the launch of the hydrogen bicycle industry through this industrial and commercial partnership with the French start-up Pragma Industries. This sector supplements the French hydrogen ecosystem, supporting ever more carbon-free mobility.”

Nog zo'n leuk waterstofaandeel: Plug Power; gedaald van ca 1200 naar ca 2,50 en al ca 20 jaar geen winst gemaakt.
