Russian convoy heading towards Kyiv is now stretched out over at least 17 miles, with breaks in between. 2-3 rows deep in some areas.

20miles north of Antonov Airport.

Unclear if it will head straight for the city or join forces with other troops first.

The road to Kyiv is not gonna be easy.

There is a lot of "rivers" on the way. Trying to set up pontoon bridges with drones in the air is gonna be tricky. I'm sure existing bridges will be blown up.

The location of the Russian pincer is rather irrelevant as their flanks are wide open and Ukraine is ripping their supply lines apart

In de reacties onder de tweet legt men uit dat een zo ver naar voren geschoven speerpunt richting Kyiv, strategisch niet slim is.

Geen verdediging aan de flanken en de aanvoer lijnen moet ver door onbeschermd gebied en dus een makkelijke prooi voor de Oekraïners.
Tanks voorin komen zonder brandstof, aanvullende munitie etc. wat een hopeloze situatie oplevert voor de tanks in de speerpunt.

Komende tijd zal leren hoe het deze oprukkende Russische tanks richting Kyiv is vergaan

More than a dozen of the veterans have already arrived in Ukraine and another dozen will travel there this week.

highly-trained snipers and experts in the use of anti-aircraft and anti-tank missiles.

A crack team of SAS veterans is joining Ukraine’s bloody fight against the Russian invasion,

Retired UK special forces soldiers have volunteered for missions deep inside Ukraine to back up the country's defence.

It is believed ex-Paratroopers may at some point join the special forces teams in Ukraine, along with other UK military specialists.

The veterans, aged between 40 and 60, have had meetings to discuss signing up for the dangerous mission, backing up Ukrainians in combat.

Key to their operation is among them there are highly-trained snipers and experts in the use of anti-aircraft and anti-tank missiles.

Snipers will also help in taking out Russian forward air spotters and Moscow’s special forces who are guiding in airstrikes on troops and local communities.
