President Donald Trump’s longtime lawyer has several new clients in a money-laundering lawsuit, all co-defendants of the Ukrainian billionaire who launched the career of that country’s recently elected president, Vlodymyr Zelinskiy.

Marc Kasowitz, a New York lawyer who has frequently worked for Trump over the years and helped him coordinate his response to the U.S. special counsel’s Russia investigation, recently signed on to defend U.S.-based business partners of Igor Kolomoisky, according to a court filing in Delaware.

Washington(CNN) Secretary of Defense Mark Esper landed in South Korea on Thursday to navigate renewed threats from an "enraged" North Korea and newly heightened strain in the alliance with Seoul that congressional aides, lawmakers and Korea experts say has been caused by President Donald Trump.

Trump is demanding that South Korea pay roughly 500% more in 2020 to cover the cost of keeping US troops on the peninsula, a congressional aide and an administration official confirmed to CNN.

The price hike has frustrated Pentagon officials and deeply concerned Republican and Democratic lawmakers, according to military officials and congressional aides. It has angered and unnerved Seoul, where leaders are questioning US commitment to their alliance and wondering whether Trump will pull US forces if they don't pay up.

Het gebeurt dat grote organisaties, instituten, voor hun vele leden/klanten een boek kopen. Dat gaat in aantallen waarbij je al gauw nr 1 staat.
Wanneer de New York Times ziet dat er sprake is van bulk verkoop van een boek, wordt dit aangegeven door een dolk.

Donald John Trump zal of zijn liefdadigheidsfonds of de GOP partijkas opdracht hebben gegeven massaal, palletladingen vol, boeken van zijn zoon Donald Jr te kopen.
Het zou ook nog kunnen, dat Donald John Trump buitenlandse regeringen opdracht heeft gegeven het boek van zijn zoon in grote aantallen te kopen. Onder dreiging, dat wanneer zij dit niet doen de relatie met de US geschaad zou worden.

Voor een wadloper heb ik respect. Een hele prestatie om te voorkomen dat je niet wegzinkt in het drijfzand.
Maar wanneer hij tegen de klippen op gaat lopen.
En verandert in een meeloper, en andere oproept mee te gaan lopen achter de Trump 'list en bedrog' karavaan, dan beginnen toch de twijfels te rijzen.

Nummer 1 op de best sellers lijst als papa Trump bijna de enige is die alle boeken van zijn zoon opkoopt.

House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) will be called as a witness in a Senate impeachment trial if the House votes to impeach President Donald Trump.
During an appearance on Fox News’ “Hannity” on Nov. 13, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said he’d call Schiff to testify.

Graham also said he wouldn’t let the impeachment trial be based on hearsay alone. A trial also wouldn’t be held if the whistleblower doesn’t testify, he said.

hearsay? Het lijkt me handig dat je even opzoekt wat precies 'hearsay' is en wat niet.
Daarnaast: diverse getuigen (bijvoorbeeld Sondland, Vindman) zijn directe getuigen.
En de vraag dringt zch op als je een probleem hebt met 'hearsay' waarom trump iedere getuige met directe kennis verbied te getuigen.

It is another nothing-burger.
Democrats want Americans to impeach President Trump for these perfect calls to the reformist Ukrainian president.
The facts are in and President Trump hasn't done anything wrong.

He released the transcript (which was perfect), there was no quid quo pro, and the whistle-blower doesn't have a firsthand account of what happened.

The two witnesses today haven't even met President Trump!

President Trump has blasted House Democrats' impeachment probe and in a blistering letter last week White House Counsel Pat Cipollone said that the executive branch would refuse to comply with congressional requests for documents or testimony.

En daarna weigerden bijvoorbeeld Mulvaney (first hand!) op te draven. En vele vele anderen...

en het eerste gesprek tussen Zelensky en trump is bewijs van wat precies :-)? (Er werd uitgebreid gesproken over corruptie, neem ik aan.....?)

De tweet van de President, gestuurd tijdens de getuigenis van voormalig Ukraine Ambassadrice Yovanovitch, wordt beschouwd als witness intimidation.

Hoe dit verder opgepakt wordt is nog onduidelijk. Maar witness intimidation is ernstig strafbaar.

Article II, Section 4 of the Constitution says nothing about “witness intimidation.” But Dems could take how they perceive attempting to tamper with/intimidate Yovanovitch as an “Abuse of Power” article of impeachment. Was one such article written for Nixon

(er zit een kans in dat hij het zelf verzonnen heeft ook natuurlijk)
