The Russian invaders are losing ground in Chernihiv and Sumy regions. The offensive is stopped in all other directions in Ukraine.

In Chernihiv region, Ukrainian defenders destroyed 9 Russian armour units (tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, armoured personnel carriers) and killed 50 Russian soldiers.

Deze BTG krijgt een gebied en taak toegewezen en voert die verder zelfstandig uit met een verscheidenheid aan materiaal en soldaten
Kan daardoor zelfstandig opereren en hun taak uitvoeren en snel inspelen op veranderende situaties in het veld

Nadeel is wanneer de BTG is uitgeschakeld er een hiaat zit in het totaal plan van de aanval met meerdere BTG's in een groot gebied

In Triëst, in de stalling van de haven, is het grootste zeiljacht ter wereld, ter waarde van 530 miljoen euro, in beslag genomen door de Guardia di Finanza. De "SY A" is toe te schrijven aan de Russische ondernemer Andrey Igorevich Melnichenko.

If confirmed, this will be really major news. Beseda and Bolukh are as high as it gets. Beseda was literally in charge of Ukraine intel (= guy who would have misled Putin on Ukraine's readiness to "welcome liberators"). Bolukh additionally in charge of disinformation.

A Russian telegram channel that traditionally pushes out pro-Kremlin and pro-FSB content now suddenly says Beseda and his deputy were brought for questioning by FSB's military counter-intel department, and are still at the FSB HQ. They've not been answering their phones (I tried)

I wouldn't be quoting this telegram channel if it didn't run against their general bias to report this. But if true it's military counter Intel that brought them, the assumed legend of trumped-up embezzlement or wasteful spending charges becomes hard to believe.

This is not trivial ( if confirmed). It's not "one asshole will replace another"). There has already been a slow purge in the FSB since our ( Bellingcat's ) @navalny investigation, with loyalists nudging out "technocrats", causing serious rifts. The alleged arrests can't make things more stable.

Helaas kunnen wij dat moeilijk controleren, aangezien hier de Russische media geboycot worden.
Youtube doet het en RT is van de satelliet gegooid. Het Westen tracteert ons dus óók op een 'information blackout'.
Je kunt wel zeggen dat ze (de russen) liegen, maar we mogen dat niet zelf vaststellen.
Het lezen van Mein Kampf betekent niet dat je de inhoud onderschrijft... het kan mijns inziens geen kwaad om je te verdiepen in de standpunten van je vijand (diplomaten doen dat ook!).

Gisteren liet half8 nog wat terugzien van een 4 jaar oude reportage in LVIV (Ukraine) een aantal jaren geleden. Toiletpapier met Putin erop op de markt en kleine gewapende anti Rusland groepjes in duistere clubhuizen. Is geen reden vooor inval maar helpt ook niet.
Maar behalve Pechtold weten politici nu wel dat Oekraine niet echt klaar is voor de EU.

De doelen die de VS voor ogen had zijn bereikt. Ongeacht het verloop van de oorlog in Oekraine. De EU minder afhankelijk maken van Russisch gas, grotere eenheid bewerken binnen de EU, meer orders voor wapenfabrikanten VS en hogere defensie-uitgaven EU landen. Het offerlam heet Oekraine.
